Just as mommyhood is evolving, the world is in a constant state of evolution. And balancing motherhood with your career, re-entering the workforce or tapping into your entrepreneurial self can be an incredibly daunting task, especially in this new economic climate. It’s never too late to achieve your career and business ambitions, and perhaps now, more than ever, is a good time to consider your next career move.
Empowering women and working moms to become entrepreneurs and intrapreneurs is one of my greatest passions. That’s why I’ve partnered with GetSmarter to give you the opportunity to develop new skills, build new professional networks, and join a group mentoring session with me to help you reach your career goals.
Starting 16 July 2020 until 29 July 2020 we’ll be running a competition* that will allow 50 South African women the chance to win a fully funded seat on the Women in Leadership online short course from the University of Stellenbosch Business School Executive Development (USB-ED) starting in October, as well as a second course of their choice from USB-ED’s or the University of Cape Town’s (UCT) online portfolio.
Connecting with like-minded women with similar goals is a powerful way to lead change. This is why winners will also be invited to join me on two Zoom calls over the next six months, where we’ll connect, share updates about our courses, contribute ideas, and offer each other support in attaining our goals.
To stand a chance of winning, click this link and tell us a little bit about yourself and your journey as a businesswoman or working mom.
Love and light,
*T&Cs apply. This competition is only available to South African citizens. Entrants must be over the age of 18 and hold a matric certificate or equivalent. Courses are non-transferable and need to be taken over a 12-month period, and can’t be exchanged for cash. Fifty women will be selected at random by independent attorneys. Competition opens on 16 July 2020 and closes on 29 July 2020. Winners will be announced on 7 August 2020.
