It’s time to get down to business. I last spoke about my dream of creating a network for like-minded modern mommies in a post in October last year and also one in September last year. I didn’t quite manage to keep to my timing as I’d hoped, but ladies, perfect time-management and motherhood are polar opposites on my spectrum at times 😉 Either way, I think it’s time. I would like to invite you Modern Mommies to submit your business ideas and let’s see how we can grow each other’s businesses and thrive. Please have a look at the post from October (you can click the link above) and then follow the following steps:
- Create a 1 minute video in which you describe your business using your smartphone. Remember, I want to hear about your business – this is NOT a TV presenting audition. You don’t have to spend hours on production. You can role a video in selfie mode or get a friend to help. If your pitch is media production, though, I suggest you do it properly 😉 Load it to your YouTube account – if you have a Gmail account, you have a YouTube account. If not, create one. It’s very simple. If you don’t know how – Google it.
- Create a 1 page business idea pitch. Let me know your cashflow projections and how probable it is for your business to succeed based on some research. Save this as a PDF.
- If your business is an existing one, use existing data to support this and add links to your website/ social media accounts in your pitch.
- In March, I’ll choose two businesses and then we can see which one becomes our eventual Modern Mommy Mompreneur who wins a cash prize to help her business and some goodies that’ll help her journey along. And me as a cheerleader and networker 😉
Remember this quote: “Vision without action is merely a dream. Action without vision just passes the time. Vision with action can change the world.” Joel A. Barker
I’m keen to help you with your business. Get thinking and remember to submit by 28 February 2017.
Lots of love and light!
