Hey, Mama ;-) Keen to see Justin Bieber next week? Win tickets!!!

I had no idea how much of a closet-Belieber I was until I saw that the ticket sales for his latest concert in South Africa were open and my palms were sweaty with excitement to enter my credit card details ASAP. This was in December last year and since then, I’ve been practising my dance moves (Have you seen the cute video for “Sorry” featuring a dance group from New Zealand?) and secretly counting down the days until he arrives in the Mother City.

As you (hopefully) know, we here at MoMo (the royal “we” -I actually mean me!) love making moms feel special and the fact that the Biebs is in town in exactly one week on 17 May at the Cape Town stadium is a good reason to give away 3 sets of tickets (yes, you can take a friend or your mom/kid) to the biggest concert of the year!

So, all you have to do is share below why your mom is the BESTEST mom or even why YOU are the bestest mom (being humble is so 2016 -ask Kanye), and win this awesome prize!!! 2 tickets per winner.

Yip, I am THAT girl who has solved your dilemma on how to get tickets ๐Ÿ˜‰ See you at the concert.

xx MoMo JoJo

My darling mamma is the best mom because she is MY mom. She teaches me how to be calm when I have no chill, ‘dat niks ooit so erg is soos wat jy dink dit is nie’, and that you can always make a plan in any situation. We are two total opposite people, and we love each other more for that. She makes the best tea, has the softest hands and laughs at my sassy jokes. She is my best friend in the whole wide world, my everything.

    Hi
Sadly both my biological and mother inlaw passed away years ago. Biological due to polycystic kidney disease and mother in law due to cancer. They were both amazing blessings from our Almighty. A void which can never ever be filled, but then came along an amazing women, Washiela Harris. She is my everything. Through it all. My illness, aches and pains, headaches, happiness and sorrow. Through treatment and healing process. Teaching me everyday there Is more to life than the norm. There is the extraordinary and love. Something money can never buy. FAMILY does not have to share the same blood to love, care and protect. She is a pillar in the community. Also volunteered alongside me at Lentegeur Police station where we did trauma counselling. I can pick up the phone literally in the middle of the night and she would speak and listen to me as if she was awake the entire time. Always there for everyone.
I don’t know what I would do without her. Yes she is not my biological mother but I love her to the moon and back. She is extremely active in the community yet makes time to spend with us. We do parkruns, community projects, girls night, etc. So I would love to treat her to the concert along with my princess Ra’eesah Ferris. A true mommy and me and daughter outing taken to the top. Whoop whoop!!! Like she loves to say.

    Good luck everyone

To be honest I am a great mommy, I work 2 jobs to support my 4 year old twin boys and we stay alone just the three of us. I do everything I can to make sure they’re well looked after and try to maintain a balance between work and spending time with them. It sure as hell ain’t easy but I am pulling the weight even n those days when it feels like I’m going to crumble. One is going through psychological problems but I have seen to it that he is attended to by a therapist and is on the road to being a better baby. I have gone through so much and work seems to take my mind off things but I too will be seeking help soon coz I get overwhelmed. Ok enough and may the odds be with me wooohooo!!!!

I look up to her for so many different reasons. The way she raised myself and my three brothers, the way she loves my dad, the way she loves her job and the people she get to work with everyday… The way she will always go out of her way, and be willing to sacrifice so much to be able to help and keep those around her happy. I look up to the amazing woman that she is and how I would be happy to one day be half the woman and mother that she is. There’s no person on this earth that I have more respect for, or love more than my beautiful mother. That’s why my mom is the bestest! ๐Ÿ˜‰๐Ÿ˜Š

I would like to nominate myself as the best mom as those were the words from the mouth of my little boys this evening. “MOM…YOU THE BEST WE LOVE YOU!” Wow I was in tears. I’m a full-time Mom to 3 boy’s ages 13 ,7 and 5. I have no support as my Parents live far from me and as My husband works 12 hour shifts and his hardly home.. 1 weekend off a month ,so I got to hold the fort.
It’s not easy, it is overwhelming but so worth it because I love my boys tremendously. They my joys, my tears, my laughter my reason for living. I do everything with my kids supporting them academically, at the sportsfield , at the athletic field. The look on their faces when i hold and kiss each one as they fall asleep at night makes my job as Mom so worthwhile. I love it. My boys are huge fans of Justin Bieber so I got to learn his songs and dancemoves already๐Ÿ˜ My motto is : I am a Strong Mom because I was raised by a Strong Woman- My Motherโค

My Mamma is the bestest-estest Mommy because she has supported every single one of my dreams/business ventures! When I lived at home she helped me learn all my scripts for auditions/actual acting work… When I was down and out and selling muffins to coffee stores, she was up at 5am baking trays of ginormous, Delicious muffins for me to deliver.

I know live in JHB and whenever I need to prepare for an Afrikaans role, she translates and helps me understand everything in the script without hesitation.

She has one child less in her house, but my gran and her sister have moved in and so she still makes sure they’re fed, comfortable and enjoying their old age.
She has never asked for anything in return.

That is why my mommy is a blessing!!

Hello my name is Raa-id and I want to go to the Justin Bieber concert. My mommy did not want to take me to the concert the first time because she says I was to small and to young. She told me i would not be able to see the stage because i am not tall enough and she can not pick me up for the whole show.

I would like to start off by saying I believe every mom and mom to be has a special type of love for their kids or gran kids. I have been blessed for 27 years of my life that Allah has given me with my Mom. Since the first time I glanced at my mom (my angel) when I was born. My mom has taught me the value of love, friendship, kindness and respect. Today I am able to go out into this world and lead a life of humility. Everything that I am and still hope to become is all thanks to my mom and Allah for blessing me with her. Losing my mom has been the hardest part of my life, she was strong to the very end and I will always look at my mom as the most bravest person I know, even her battle with cancer couldn’t take her smile away. My mom made such a positive change in the lives of the people she touched with her grace. She is and forever will be the Angel in my lifeโ™ก

My mom is the best because even when she was an orphan who had a child at 16 years of age, she hustled and made sure I had my necessities until I graduated. She is such a strong woman that going through an abusive marriage she chose us her children and left for the sake of our future. I just want her to have a break and say you can relax now we will take care of you as your kids. She sacrificed everything for me.

The best that I can be is to instill the best values in life…honesty & integrity…love unconditionally…consider others and be loyal….and remain faithful to yourself . Each day comes with new challenges and we learn as our kids grow….we have to walk the talk and be ready to embrace change. Where does one start? Women are strong but the strength of a mother is can’t be measured. I will probably never know all the sacrifices she endured to give us what she never had. From having their house demolished during apartheid, having to leave school in order to help provide for her siblings, never complaining and always pushing us to be the best we can be. My mom is the best mom for so many infinite reasons. She is a single mom, God fearing and strong woman. She lost her companion( my dad) when I was a little girl. Growing up I always watched her work so hard to put food on the table and give me her all. Her nature is so selfless as she always shared the little we had with the others around her in our small community. Today I am an independent, young, God fearing ambitious lady. A final year Chartered Accounting student. And ready to take on the world and give back to my community in the near future. This is all the product of a single mom who never chose to let her circumstances ruin the chance of a better future for her child. My mom will always be my pillar of strength and the morals and values she instilled in me will always shape me to become the best possible version I can ever become. I AM because who SHE is!

He feels bad that he cant give me a proper present but that its not whats it about. I think writing this on behalf would make jim happy cause both of us will enjoy the concert as we are big fans of Justin. I think just to spend the day in a lovely, vibey atmosphere would make him happy.

I would love to comment about how awesome, amazing and supportive my anchor (a.k.a. my mom) is BUT if I were to win this and wish her on Sunday with JB tickets she will in an authenic Muslim and Cape Malay mother style go “Justine Bieber wie?”

So I am going to comment about my amazing sister in law of 11 years…met her when I was 15, she was a bigger sister and mother to even back then (I am the only daughter and never had an older sister to confide in). I see the genuine love she has for her three kids…it is there in her kindness…in her love…in every touch…in each meal she prepares for them…in her smile when she sees one of her kids…in the light on her face when she sees them excel but most of all I see it in her laughter in the moments and it is in those moments I as an aunt to 5 kids see the true blessings of children…their innocence….their ability to turn sorrows into happiness in a split second. We are fortunate to have awesomely light sense of humours and are able to cherish, embrace and just laugh at those silly moments of all of them….like when my nephew asks for his “bummy” when he means “dummy”.

I have no idea how my sis in law who has been married for 11 years now with kids aged 8, 7 and 1 manged to finish her degree in BComm Human Resource Management in 2017 while being a full time working mother, devoted and loving wife, and daughter. While she may no longer have her parents, she has certainly been accepted by my parents and by me as our own blood. I can only thank God for blessing me with such a phenomenol example of a mother’s love and it is pure joy being exposed to it daily. Also, this woman just really needs a break – even if it is just for a few hours dancing and screaming to JB.

My mother – the quirky inspiration.
Creativity is deeply rooted in discovery and invention and it was an inspiring mindset to experience growing-up.

But at the heart of creativity should be one simple question: what makes you happy? For my mom, the answer was being an artistic spirit, and welcoming people into our home as though they were family. With a dining room table big enough for both neighborhood drawing classes and communal family meals, it was an equal balance wouldn’t you say?

My mother inspired my career in the crazy world of live television behind-the-scenes in so many ways she doesn’t even know. She showed me how to be strong, how to be caring, how to be a maker, and more importantly, how to be a dreamer. She always showed passion and drive in any project she took on, big or small. Having a strong, driven, multi-talented woman in my surroundings has shaped me in so many ways, and I am so grateful.

There are not many people out there willing to take you in, flaws and all, and love you, no questions asked. There is nothing out there that is going to provide that crazy, unconditional, non-judgmental type of love quite like my mommy.

Mother’s Day will be here soon enough, which means that it’s time for me to start thinking about how I’m going to cement my place as my mom’s favorite kid! Obviously you can’t buy a mother’s love – but with a set of Justin Bieber tickets I could at least grease the wheels by giving her the right gift to show off our dance moves.

Growing up, my mother and I never really had that “mother and daughter bond”, which in all honesty, I blame myself for that. At that time and at such a young age, I just didn’t think my mom was “cool” enough. All because when compared to my friends mothers, my mom didn’t have a cool job, drive a cool car or do or say cool things. However, regardless of whether or not we had THAT bond, she always made sure I was happy, even if she wasn’t and made it known that she’s there and always will be, there for me whenever I need her. Fast forward many years later, we have grown so close, especially the past 2 years as I got married and had a child of my own. Ive since then realised that, that’s what mothers are there for, to love you regardless. Thanks for always loving me and never giving me up on me โคโคโค

Who I am today, who I will be in my future, is shaped by one person in my life, my mother. On the outside, my mother may look like an ordinary woman, but in her tiny appearance lies extraordinary strength, perseverance, a generous soul, and a kind heart. She is not only my mom, but my friend, my big sister, whom I can share all my problems and stories in life with. I am who I am because of her, and there are no words that can express how thankful I am to have her in my life.If I can be half the woman my mother is I would consider myself lucky.

Before I start, I just have to comment that I affectionately call anyone and everyone Bobo or Coco, so seeing Momo Jojo was a real kick lol.

Mom’s go the extra mile for everything, from smiley tomato sauce faces on your lunch when you were a kid to driving around town to get you the best dress at a function. They work hard without fail, always motivating you and looking after your best interests (even when you don’t see it at first). A mom’s job never ends. My mom is a soldier, going beyond the call of duty, to protect us from all that is harsh in this world. She is the gift sent from God, to make sure that we flourish in all aspects of life, and are very well nourished lol. A selfless, funny, kind, strong, very outspoken woman, this is the only mom I know.

    Love you mom.

It’s the simple stuff that I love about my mom. The calls during the week just so I can laugh. The acceptance of who I am as a young woman finding herself. Mostly it’s always encouraging me to be a independent solid woman and the many “I love you” that we have never said to each other but show to each other every day. Happy mother’s day to all the mothers. You are loved.

As a mom of a 5 and a 4 year old working too, its a challenge to try and balance everything. To make sure you keep them happy and still come home after a days work and see that you spend time with them and nursing them. Time goes by so quickly that you strive on giving them the best love and care that you forget about yourself which is normal. Dont know when last I had a night out with a friend. This concert will be a nice evening out to celebrate being a mom!

My mom is such a strong woman, her mom is 80 years old and it would be safe to say she is even stronger. I’m so proud to come from such a good line of genes. I share my beautiful mom with 4 other siblings. My mom is always willing to help, she beat cancer in its chops, still makes my favourite cake for my birthday and helps out with her 8 grand children when needed.

Honestly don’t know what I would do without her and truly do appreciate her everyday, I mean she did give birth to one of the best humans, me. ๐Ÿคฃ๐Ÿคฃ

    My mom is the BESTEST.

She teach me so much about life EVERY single day. Although we fight sometimes (mostly because I have this bad attitude of thinking I know better sometimes…) I know she does everything out of love. My mom goes to work at 5 every morning and returns at 7 every afternoon. But, despite her full day at work she still makes/find time to spend time with me.

    I love you, Mommy x

I know I am the best mom to my beautiful 8 year old daughter. I had her at 19 years old and ever since then she has been my reason to get up each day and fight to be the best version of myself. Since having her have I known what real love is, constantly putting her needs before my own and I dont regret it 1 bit cause before I had I struggled with depression as a teen. Being a single parent , fulltime working mother and part-time financial accounting final year student is tough but I would have not gotten this far if it was not for my little girl’s existence motivating me to be the best me not for myself but for her! Its fun for her that im way younger than her peers mommy’s , she thinks im somewhat cool:) so this will be a great opportunity to make memories with my daughter and she will once again believe how cool I am! #mommy #coolmom #jb #belieber

My mother is my best friend, my confidant, my rock , my strength. There isn’t a day that goes by that I don’t pray for her. Her health isn’t all that great but she pushes through living in constant pain day in and day out. Always smiling putting her feelings aside when it comes to us as family. Words cannot even begin to describe how wonderful my mother is for all the sacrifices she has made for us. ๐Ÿ˜š I, always as a child said that I would never be like my mother but as an adult and a mother of two beautiful children I am so proud to say that I am exactly like my mother. I understand how easy it was for her to put our needs first, how to love unconditionally and how difficult it must have been to discipline us and ensure that our morals and values shine through. We all struggle as parents especially today as we live in constant fear of the unknown. I’m so thankful for my mom though as she ensured that we all were taught to trust God with everything and he will always be there. Thank you mommy for being you. Pauline Abrahams never leaves the house in jeans jeans and a t-shirt. It’s literally always best foot forward – even if it’s just for grocery shopping. From being neatly matched alongside my dad, heels and bag to match too, no hair is out of place and no place is too basic to not dress up.

My style has definitely changed over the past few years from extreme lady to middle tomboy and a combination of both at random times. She taught me how to dress like a lady when it mattered most, to accessorize and emphasize the good parts and cover up where needed. She’s the best (and worst) shopping buddy, encouraging new buys, breaking boundaries and getting me out of my comfort zone.

Not to mention our budding shoes collections almost at war with one another, trying to grab a pair here and there to match up.

My style is often unique because I’ve managed to raid her closet and vice versa. Talk about major influence.

Definitely a lady that leads the way. And despite being able to walk properly, move her arms without pain or waking up in the middle of the night having bled right through due to fibroids, she keeps on keeping on. Up early for breakfast, lunches packed, food cooked and house cleaned. Through it all.

I don’t even know where to begin. My mom had me when she was 23 years, to her parents’ disappointment (at the time). She had no choice to be a single parent #SouthAfricanstory and took it upon herself to insure that my life is pure bliss. She became a mother of six( five siblings and me) at 25 after her mother’s passing and has never stopped mothering.
The words resilient, ambitious and loving aren’t words that I’ve read from a book but are words that I saw and still see manifest daily. A day without speaking to her leaves a void in my soul, she the only person how truly knows me and supports me all the way. I cry at the thought of my love for her and pray daily that I could love the way she does. I thank God that she picked her to parent me, I truly would not have it any other way. I never thought that we would have such an amazing relationship. I consistently annoy my friends with a number of times I mention her name in our conversation. She is my mother with friendship characteristics. Yes my mother and not my friend. How blessed will my children be to have her as a grandmother (I’m slightly jealous)!

I wish I could tell you more but this is as far as my tears can allow me. Anyway I think mothers who take up the task to mother are all super moms , you don’t have to be a mom to see how delightfully-challenging it is. So Happy Mother’s Day to all mothers! You are loved and appreciated all year round!

She supported and made all my travels happen for me because it was my dream and yet at over 50 has never even been in a plane! Hello…. ๐Ÿ˜‰

Having my daughter was the most eye openening experience of my life. They say that you don’t know true love until you have had a baby… and man oh man how true that is. From the moment my daughter was born I knew why I was put on this earth… apart from cherishing her, guiding her and protecting her… I was meant to teach her what being a woman was about and how to be a strong one at that in today’s world. She motivated me to finally start my own business and to show her that she can do anything she puts her mind to!

Mother’s Day for me is about celebrating myself as a mom and giving myself that little bit of pride that I know I deserve for trying to be a good mom (even on the bad days)…

Its amazing reading these comments and relating to them all! I believe that each and every persons mom is the best mom ever, I mean, she carried you in her for 9 months, you gave her stretch marks and like my mom says “turned her size 6 upside down and multiplied that number by a few”. What makes MY mom the most special and “BESTEST” mom is her constant and unconditional support in everything I do! The fact that I can roll up in a ball next to her, not saying anything after a long stressful day is the most rewarding feeling. I’m the youngest child, and although she claims “I love my children equally”, I know I am the fave! *chuckles*. When the news that Bieber is coming was there, she tried her best to get tickets. But as we all know, some moms and technology just aren’t the best pair! Although I told her it’s fine and that we don’t have to go, I know she really wanted to! These tickets would mean the world to us, for me to actually give her something back! I love my mummy too much! Thank you Jo-ann for this amazing competition! And goodluck to myself and all the other ladies ๐Ÿ˜€ xxxxxxxxxxxx

She really deserves these she is a full-time mom she works and she studies all at the same time but she always makes the most time for my nephew, and it shows because he is his moms biggest supporter her loves so much. They recently moved to Cape Town this year so she has had a lot of stress with the moving and relocation from Port Elizabeth to there and it has been adjustment for them all. I know she has been stressed and she misses the whole family in PE because we are such a big close family we miss them too. I look at her see how much she has grown as a mother and how she has always remained the same person she has been .

So i would love to spoil her this mother’s day with these amazing tickets she is a Justin Bieber fan i think we all are too, so sad I wont be joining her but I would love to surprise her with tickets this would make her year. We have always been close we only 2 years apart so i know this would mean the world to her and make her time in Cape Town special even if its just for one night to remember.

Wow I dare I compete with such amazing moms just reading all these msgs on motherhood warms my heart knowing that my fight with motherhood isn’t alone. I say fight because it’s one of the toughest challenges but the most rewarding it’s a battle I go full force in everyday. I regard myself as a worier trying each day to tackle tasks that. I would never have imagined doing and coming out with sparkly and clean hoping there’s no food stuck to my hair or kids didn’t forget the home work in the car while rushing to school.from eating breakfast on there way to school to accidentally sitting in the unfinished breakfast having to siff through the boot to camoflauge ur stains it’s missions like these I wouldn’t change for the world. All these moms deserve it good luck in choosing . No sad story we all have our battles I would just like to spoil my two kids they deserve it .Having my mom as role model and now an angel is a bonus. My greatest achievement in life is MOTHERHOOD .

Having the blessing of knowledge and the presence of my mom in my life, makes being a mom myself so much easier. We have but few very special people in our life and the true essence of life, is the bond we have with our loved ones and for me that one special person is my mom. Mom means love and love means life. Justin Bieber might also be that unique moment of love and life ๐Ÿ™‚

    Hello

My mother is the most important person in my life. Not only did she carry me for nine months but she continues to support and love me regardless of what I have put her through to bring me up.

So far my mother has the greatest impact in my life. Many people have come and passed but she keeps by my side helping and advising me on all the important values of a good life.

As I watch her struggle to bring all my three siblings and me up I can only hope to be such a strong and hardworking person myself. She diligently takes care of our family while still taking care of herself too.

She has shown us that with hard work and determination anything is possible. My mother is patient and when she puts her heart on something, she doesnโ€™t give up until she sees results. My mother sometimes works night shift and is able to juggle between her work time and taking care of us. This is something I can only hope to have.

My mother and I are close and I normally go to her for advice. She has taught me a lot and has helped me become a better person in life. She is intelligent and knows the solution to almost any problems I seek advice for.

I am who I am today in my Third studying Bcom Accounting at the University of Johannesburg because of my mother.

I’m hoping for the Justin Bieber tickets for Johannesburg if you have.
    Thank you

    Heyyyyy mama ๐Ÿ™‚

Well I can’t even begin to put words down as to why my mom is the most important figure in my life … She is more than just a mom to my sister and I .. we call her our “Modad”, she played the role of mom and dad in our lives and even though when I think back to how difficult it must of been for her, she ALWAYS had a smile on her face and never let us know any of the struggles she was going through…

We never had a lot of money growing up and certainly did not have the best clothes or fancy stationary or latest technology but we never wanted for any “necessities” in life .. she gave us everything we ever needed and most importantly, she gave us life and loved us both unconditionally (even through our delinquent rebellious teenage years) ..

Without this amazing, compassionate and understanding woman in my life, I wouldn’t be where I am today.. and I wouldn’t change the struggles we faced together growing up for anything, those struggles are what made us a closer family …

Mom – thank you for all you have done!! I hope one day I can live up to the high standard of what is to be a mother one day.. atleast they will have a great granny ๐Ÿ˜‰

Happy Mother’s Day to all the amazing moms out there!!

PS: I saw you at the waterfront mall last week sometime, actually I think it was that public holiday on Monday.. freedom day ๐Ÿ™‚ gosh can’t remember there has been so many public holiday lately .. well, you were looking as fab as ever and so was your little one โค๏ธ

She is and forever will be the Angel in my life๐Ÿ’œ

My mom was one of 14 kids. At the tender age of 13 she sacrificed her education to help her mom raise the rest of her siblings. Many of them were lucky enough to continue to university but have always mentioned how much smarter she was. She married my dad, had three kids and was a homemaker like no other. A magician in the kitchen, even fixing flops into masterpieces. She helped raise all her grandchildren while we worked. Sadly she passed away a few weeks before her 51st wedding anniversary. Her example will be the echo of our lives forever.

This will be my first Mother’s Day as a proud new mommy to my four month old son Alexander. He is my smile keeper, my reason for living and making sure I muscle through every challenge that comes my way. Never have I truly known the unconditional love that a mother has for their child till I became a mother myself.

I grew up without a mother, having lost my mother at the tender age of 5 months old due to breast cancer. I have always had that longing need to call someone mommy but God blessed me with an amazing father who took it upon himself to raise me and my siblings after my mother passed. My father unfortunately has also passed on a few years ago but I will forever keep hin in my heart as he was both my mom and dad all in one.

I am the mother that I am today because of him๐Ÿ’“.

Most things I know about women I owe them to my mom.

Mom loved me so much that at times only her words to my hears could change things for me for the best (Her words had so much power that they spoke easily to the deeper me)

I used to be a stubborn child amongst my siblings. And she used sometimes to beat me up to the point of shaking everything in the house (to avoid such beatings I would lock myself in a room until she calms down)

She has been my best teacher when things were tough and in good times she will make sure I am happy. She could go miles to provide me with the best care needed.
She loved us so much that at times i think my ancestries are on my mom side rather than my dad side.

Do not have enough word to describe her love for me. Love my Mom!

I am a mom of three, aged almost 21, 13 & 10. My mom has taught me so much and even though she is one of God’s angels what she instilled in me I practice each and everyday. Although I try to be a friend to my kids in today’s world, being a Mother is more than important. It is crucial to teach them respect, responsibility and independence. The task of motherhood is not easy, bravery comes to mind. It causes joy, fun, sadness, tears and heartache, but at the end of the day we are there for our kids. They can rely on us. I was born with a cleft lip and palate, while pregnant with all my kids, I always worried are they going to be OK. I thank God for giving me 3 healthy kids. My strength comes from them, they give me courage when days are glim. They give me joy with their smiles. Their happiness is most important and I strive to give all that I can to them.Motherhood has its daily challenges, but Motherhood is the most rewarding. Seeing and holding your baby for the first time, blessed to have it three times around. Experiencing and feeling all the love for that small body, who would have known how kids would change our lives. They are our blessings, my kids are my blessings. A job well done to all mothers everywhere ๐Ÿ™‚

Her love and energy is felt by everyone around her, and her wonderful Greek ways made our house the ultimate home to grow up in. My mom is the best because… today when I went for a hair cut she sat in the salon grasping “no not so short” and then asked the hairdresser to put my hair in a bag for her because she wanted to keep it. P.s. my hair was all the way down to my bottom and I cut it to my shoulders, that’s why she wanted to keep it.

I don’t think you appreciate how truly amazing your mother actually is until you become a mother yourself. It’s only then that you realise the intensity of your mothers love; how they would move heaven and earth to make you happy. My Mom is no longer with me, but if she were I would be sure to tell her that I think she was phenomenal. Strong, independent, brave – a great example of how to be a lady and a fantastic Mom. And who also believed that there wasn’t a problem in the world that couldn’t be solved with a strong cup of tea. I miss her today and everyday.

Today I have 3 little boys of my own, and I try to live up to my Mom’s example everyday, hoping that she’ll be happy with the job I’m doing of raising them โค๏ธ

My mom is amazing.. up until recently she lived a very reclusive life, she lived quite a distance from myself and her grandson, spending her days taking care of my 28 year old sister who suffers with the most severe form of cerebral palsy. After much negotiation, research, convincing, I eventually got my parents moved in two road down from where I am currently living… wow wow wow, she is happier than I have ever seen her, she gets to see my son every single day, her only grandson. I have been trying to include her on most activities we embark on, she even recently joined us at Ratanga Junction and she totally kicked ass and took names my going on each and every ride. I really want her to be able to experience so many things she has been missing out on for so many years, and although she won’t admit it, she is definitely a Belieber <3 This would be an experience like no other for mom and I and I know it will create memories she will cherish forever. I want only the best for her, and a mom and daughter night out watching Justin perform live in concert would be the most amazing gift, for both her and I. Two moms having an awesome night out and sharing an experience we never had before <3 I love her to the ends of the earth and would love to win this prize and absolutely make her day.

Its probably been said already but my mom is the best because had she not raised me the way she did, then I wouldn’t be the mom I am to my kids today. During my uni years, we fell out and I realized how necessary it was in order for us to have the relationship we have today. She so lovingly takes care of my sons and is the biggest inspiration of my life.

It took for me to become a mom to understand that I will never be able to fully thank her for all that she has done for me, but I am spending each day, in the hopes, of trying to just show her in each way how thankful I am to have her in my life.

My son brought out so much love from me, love that I never knew my heart could hold. Joy that I never thought I could feel. My son, Liam (THEE biggest Justin Bieber fan EVER) was told at the age of 3 that he looks like justin bieber. Well, life was never the same. Since then, he has been a loyal fan, listnes to Justin Bieber practically everyday, defends him when others hate on Justin. Anyway, back to why I nominate me. Liam was diagnosed with Epilepsy when he was just 4 years old (now 8). My whole world was turned upside down. Just when I thought I had already given my all to my son, little did I know that was just a teaser of what was to come. We’ve been on one hell of a journey, and I have had to sacrifice financially, mentally, emotionally, physically in order to protect and look after my son. We’ve spent weeks in hospital. Spent many days researching, spent many appoinments in doctors rooms hoping to find answers from one that we can actually trust. I never in my wildest dreams thought I would have the strength to go on this journey, or even want to be a part of it. I have been doing this, while been a full time working mom in a very stressful job, during pregnancy and a new baby, We’ve had to put up with many many challenges along the way, and I am proud to say I have become the best momma I can be for my little big boy. I never thought I would be able to be the best person for my son. My son has turned me into one of the worlds best moms, And for that, my boy, I say thank you and your momma will continue to be the worlds greatest momma.

I think i am the best mother because having my first born at a very tender age of 19 was very life changing and tough. To think that you have lost all your hopes and dreams you had for your future..to see and feel nothing but fear..and when the moment comes and you hold your baby in your arms all that fear dissapears and you just know this is what you were meant to do! So i feel having to sacrifice so much at a young age makes me the best mother, friend and role model, because i never gave up on my dreams or my kids! So i believe that i need to win those tickets so me and my son can have more special and spectaculat moments at the Justin Bieber concert!

My mom didn’t have the best childhood growing up, however she has tried her utmost to make sure my brother and I have everything we could possible need (and making sure we know the different between a want and a need lol). Even though her and my dad are not well off they still continue to try their best to make sure their children have been provided with the best education possible and having us understand how important it is to study and become financially independent individuals. My mom always puts her children first, and I can’t remember her ever having a pamper session, let alone going to a concert. We do stuff all the time…but they know that I have to take care of me and when it is “me time” they understand… “Momma’s going for sushi and bubbly with aunty Anthea!” Thank God that my husband is hands-on! She’s so loving and regards my 4 year old cousin as her own. She’s selfless, so caring and always put others needs ahead of her own. She feeds us, she loves us and she’ll never leave us. xoxo love you mommy

My mom is the BESTEST because when I am sick she cleans my house, does my laundry and brushes my hair. I JUST DROPPED THE MIC, lol.

I am never one to like to put the spot light on myself. I am the type of mom that shies away from photos … always standing in the background.
I would love to win the tickets to take my daughter to go see Justin Bieber. More than anything, she deserves it. She is a superstar and a real life here.
In August 2015, my husband who was 44 at the time, suffered a stroke, my daughter who was 8 at the time was there when it happened. Somehow she was cool and calm enough to be able to phone me, remembering my number to tell me that something was wrong with her dad (my husband).
I rushed home to find that she had tried to put my husband in a more comfortable position, but couldn’t because he was too heavy and instead fetched him a pillow to put under his head.
She had to deal with her dad being in hospital for 2 months and do formal testing at the same time.(for which she got good marks that term).
My husband is still busy with his recovery and he is not the “dad” that she is used to.
After this incident, I decided to take my life into my own hands and to look after myself. I started with walking in the afternoon for 30 – 40 minutes just to clear my head so that I could be the strength that my family needed.
I went off the tracks for a little and this year got back into it this year.
Started in Feb with 5 km runs, now doing 10 km runs and 13 Medals later from the runs that I entered.
Loving the fact that I am 2 sizes smaller as well, which is awesome.
Me and my daughter are 2 strong women being thrown in the deep end emotionally and we survived.
Things have been financially a little strained as my husband as only now just started working.
This would be an absolute awesome gift to share with my daughter ……

Justin Bieber Oh Justin Bieber. How I love you let me count the ways ๐Ÿ˜‚. I want to go please! My son was to young to go the last time he was here and would love the to take him. We are both big BELIEBERS, from hairstyle to having his music bursting on my earphones.
I work half day and the other half playing mom’s taxi.
My 12 year old editor says I should tell you how selfless I am and nothing is ever to much when it comes to my kids. My life on hold for another 10years when I send the last off to University ๐Ÿ˜Š.

Why my mom is the best? Not as easy to answer, most people think that there mom is the best, but there is a distinct line between being amazing and being the best! My mom is THE BEST!!!!! My mom does the average things of a good mom, drive you around, love you, care for you, make sure you have a good education, feeds you etc. But my mom over achieve’s, she is hip and happening, she always like to dance and have fun with me๐Ÿ˜œ๐Ÿ˜ซ๐Ÿ˜œ even though sometimes I ask her to not dance in front of my friends, she does๐Ÿ˜“๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ˜‚ she is super cool. Saying this she also makes sure I have good morals and values! She disciplines me when she has to, but shows mercy, grace and live while round so. She wants me to be the best I can be. She makes sure my education is AMAZING, always making sure I do my best in school. My mom also has to help my younger brother who is 8. To handle a 12 and 8 year old is extremely hard(I’m twelve) She always makes time for us both. She gives us equal love, but always make you feel like you are the most special person in the world. She helps me when I have problems with my friends and I tell her everything, we have a special bond! My mom works a half a day because she decided she wants to spend more time with us. She tries to give us the best of life. When it was my 11th birthday, my cousins grandfather past away and he was almost like my grandfather. The funeral was a day before my birthday. I cancelled my party. She did something I will never forget. She dropped me at my Aunty and then an hour later she fetched me. There was a cake and a rose in the car. I asked what it was for and she said just wait and see. I arrive at my house five on my best friends are at my door with packed bags. They blindfold me and we get in the car. I take of my blindfold and there I am at the crystal hotel. I was staying there for a night! It was so cool. On top of being an amazing mom, she’s an amazing wife. She always helps my dad and supports him. They have been married for 17 years. She is truly amazing. She makes delicious homemade food and always makes sure we are healthy and fit. Here is the sad thing though, if I win, these tickets won’t be for me and my mom!๐Ÿ˜” They will be for my brother and my mom. When Justin Bieber first came to Cape Town my brother wasn’t able to go because he was too young. My brother has always been a fan, just like me. He cuts his hair like Justin Bieber, wears clothes like him and blasts his music through the roof of our house. I had such a fun time going with my mom last time and it would mean a lot if my brother could get the experience! Only problem is we can’t afford to buy tickets for that much. I love my whole family and getting this is like showing my brother and mom the love I have for them! I pray I get these tickets.โค๏ธโค๏ธโค๏ธโค๏ธโค๏ธโค๏ธโค๏ธโค๏ธ

My mom truly is an amazing woman and Mommy! She has overcome so much in her life and yet she has gone to achieve so much despite all her setbacks. She’s a strong, God-fearing woman who loves her children deeply.

She is such a selfless individual. She always puts her family first. She has taught me to love God, love myself despite my flaws, love my family (despite theirs) and all human kind. She has instilled in me values and principles that I intend on passing down to my son, Liam. She has worked so hard over the years and sacrificed so much to give my brothers and I the very best. I can only hope that I will be half as wonderful a mother as she is. She is always there when we need her.

    She is truly a blessing.

My dearest darling mother has been my pillar of strength throughout my entire life, from schooling (she was a stay-at-home mom) where she dropped me off and collected me every day, to University, where she still dropped me off and collected it me every day, to when I started working (yes, you guessed right….she dropped me off and collected me until I was able to purchase my own car). I don’t know a more unselfish person that my mom! She and I planned my wedding on our own – this was so special. She’s guided me through some difficult choices in life, always been my confidant, helped me with relationship advise and has always been proud of my achievements. She attended every concert I was ever in, she even attended my Drama production exam when I was at University. I’ve always admired her as a mother, and now that I’m a mother of my own beautiful daughter, I hope to emulate her and be the same supportive kind of mother to my daughter. I work full-time and I’m not a stay-at-home mom, but I drop my daughter at school and collect her every day, I’ve taken off from work to attend every ballet recital, parent meeting or doctor’s appilointment. I truly believe that my mother instilled a strength in me that allows me to confidently mother my daughter and shower her with the same kind olive and protection I received from my mother. (This is the first time I’ve ever truly reflected on the true value of my mother -if I feel I could write a book, and it has brought me to tears.) Thank you for posting this competition, because even if I don’t get picked to win the tickets, through reflecting on why I think my mom is the best- I’ve still won the best prize and that is a mother that I’ll never take for granted! ๐Ÿ™‚

My mom is the best mom ever because she is a mom who knows how to deal with a cheeky kid like me and my baby sister. My mom’s the best because if you’re hurt or sad she always makes it better. Although she’s been retrenched for over a year she still provides for my sister and I every day and makes sure we are happy and entertained by being creative. That’s my SUPER MOMMA and I love her to bits!!

My mom, my queen, my everything. She’s the strongest human I know, she’s brought me up to the best of her ability teaching me how to be strong. She is the most humble person, she has been through so much but always sees the light at the end of the tunnel, whether it’s looking after my grandfather or driving her to hospital at 4am, or even making a cup of coffee she is always calm, loving, caring and strong. She makes me so proud every day, she is a teacher and I am so happy for her students, because she’s teaching them to be strong and know they can be anything just as my beautiful mother has taught me. She would absolutely love theseeing ticket’s, best mommy daughter date ever! ๐Ÿ˜๐Ÿ˜๐Ÿ˜

Having just become a mum myself 8 months ago, I really really appreciate my mum. Now only do I understand what she went through with all of her kids (three!). She is also so so amazing with my little one. I’m so blessed to have her in my life. I hope I can give back to her all the joy, support and happiness she has shared with us. I love my mum, unconditionally! Love Nadia

The reason why I would say in the greatest mom (to a 7 year old)…last year, I enrolled into a tertiary institution.when I checked the possible exam schedule, I was due to write exams in the day that Justin bieber is in cape town.with the pressures of work and studies as a single parent, with a heavy heart I asked my daughter’s step mom to accompany my daughter to the concert ( the ticket was her Christmas gift from me).why a heavy heart? It would be my daughter’s first concert and I would not get to share in the experience. With things being financially strained, I was unable to buy a ticket for myself after I discovered last week that our exam was moved.i would make the same sacrifice as I put the joy of my daughter first at all times….

My mom sacrificed so much to give me a good basic education and continues to motivate me with my tertiary studies now that I am able to further progress in that area. She has put her needs aside since I can remember and continues to do so, regardless of how old I currently am, i.e. 28 years of age. Most importantly she introduced me to a way of life that no one will ever be able to take away from me, and that is the ability to Love and actively serve God and find my strength in Him daily. Such a precious gift- PRICELESS to say the least!!! #Superwoman #MyMom #TooBlessedToBeStressed #GiftFromGod

My mother is the best mother because she is the first best friend I ever had. She she looks out for me and guides me the best way she can. She is wise and smart and loving. Growing up she was always so over protective, looking out for me in a world that doesn’t value women’s lives. I didn’t understand then why she didn’t let me go certain places or insisted on fetching me at 3am after a night out. I do now, and I’m forever grateful for the values she instilled in me. I love my over protective, wise, guiding, smart, loving mother. My first best friend.

It’s funny how much someone can impact your life in ways that you can’t understand. My mother is and will be a major impact I’m my life. She has shown me that I can be an independent woman and be a married woman. She has shown me perseverance, unconditional love and so much strength. She worked so hard and continue to work hard to give me and my siblings the life she never had. She pushed me to my full potential, she made sure that I don’t have to struggle to get back up again when I am down because she was always there to help me.
The best thing about her is her presence, her spirit and her laugh. She molded me into the person I am today and the older I get the more I appreciate her.
When I get home, she is always the first person I see so that I can see her smile and know there is always place in her heart for me.
    I love you Mom ๐Ÿ’•

    Mummy, synonymous to beauty
    Love and nurture. Selfless care
    For a complete stranger, who
    Kicked inside of you
    Gave you stretch marks
Made you crave pickles dipped in peanut butter
    I Made you glow.

    Mama, my first word.
    Gurgled through a gummy mouth
And wet soft lips. Dressed warmly in
    ‘Mommies princess’ onsies
    And snuggly socks.
    I made you smile.

    Mother, I snapped
    With my head bent down
    Looking at my phone screen
As you screamed for my attention
Went out With The wrong boys
And hung out With the wrong friends.
    I made you sad.

Mom, I said with a wet smile
    Holding my degree
Ready to take over the world
    As you predicted I would.
    As you promised I could.
    Walked into a new life
    With endless possibilities
    Because of your endless sacrifices.
    I made you proud.

    Nana, she muffled
Mouth stuffed with a chew toy
    For her itchy gums
    You kissed her forehead
Like you did mine, at her age
    Dressed in ‘grandma’s gem’ onsies
    And snuggly socks
    I made you love again
    She made you complete.

    And you made me whole.
    Love you mum ๐Ÿ’œ

I have legit tried every competition to win tickets for myself and my mamma ๐Ÿ˜ญ . Believe it on not my mother is a huge Justin Bieber fan just like myself ๐Ÿ’– . We would always jam and sing along to his music in the car. Let’s me start with saying I would not have been here today, if it wasn’t for my mother ๐Ÿ™๐Ÿ™ . Although we argue alot, and we sometimes would not see eye to eye, she’s the reason I wake up in the morning. I’m doing what I’m doing for her and myself. I want to prove to her that I’m capable of doing extremely well academically. She supports me through all my choices I’ve made in life. Even if she had a bad day at work , she would put that aside to help me with what ever I’m going through. We have a unbreakable bond. There’s so much things I can be thankful for, she’s my rock and my pillar of strength. My mother is a super mom. It’s not always easy being a single parent, but my mother tries her best to get me what I need. She’s all I ever need in my life time. Hopefully we could be jamming our way into my birthday which is the 18th of May. Fingers crossed for this one ๐Ÿ’•๐Ÿ’• . I love you mommy ๐Ÿ˜‡๐Ÿ˜‡

I am a stand in mom to my niece. And id like to think of myself as the most amazing one at that. I love taking her new places and teaching her new things experiences are everything in life! She teaches me so many new things on a regular. She is the brightest most entertaining 9 year old i have ever come across. Id literally do anything to see her jump out of her skin to receive these tickets. She recently entered a competition where she danced to his songs unfortunately she didn’t win ๐Ÿ™ been asking me on a daily what the results were to the competition and if she won. How do i break her little heart like that.
